Matire (Ngāpuhi) is the Head of Department of General Practice and Primary Health Care and GP at Papakura Marae Health Clinic.
A Kaupapa Māori clinical academic, Matire teaches MBChB Years 4 to 6, supervises postgraduate students, and leads clinical and qualitative research with a focus on managing long term conditions in the community.
